Winewood Organics is Ann Arbor’s first micro dispensary and is super impressive. Just wow. It falls into its own special category micro dispensary.
Winewood grows and sells its own certified organic weed and is staffed by seemingly very knowledgeable budtenders. Winewood further commits to local by striving to support businesses right in their own neighborhood. This is a true boutique shop. Everything is treated with care. Even your receipt is put into its own special case. You’ll walk out feeling well-tended to. Definitely worth the visit!
What’s Near this Dispensary
Homes Brewery is around the corner on Jackson Rd. It’s one of Ann Arbor’s Microbreweries. It’s pretty casual here and you can get a great meal with a brew. Everything is fresh and tasty. You’ll want to check out this place if you’re a microbrew fan and you’ve found yourself nearby.
World-renowned Zingerman’s Roadhouse needs no introduction. The Roadhouse is like no other diner. And certainly, no other Bill Knapps has been renovated so thoroughly to be indistinguishable from those long-lost memories. Zingerman’s Roadhouse sources locally when it can.
If you haven’t experienced Zingerman’s Roadhouse yet, you owe it to yourself to check it out. Always a great experience, and always great service.
Chela’s Restaurant & Taqueria
Chela’s, an authentic Mexican restaurant, is in a small shopping center just south of Winewood Organics. This is a casual restaurant that serves an amazing tamale among other items. I think this is one of Ann Arbor’s best Mexican restaurants. Low key, reasonably priced, and quick. Enjoy your meal! I always do.
Bloom Wellness Spa & Yoga
Make an afternoon of it at Bloom Wellness Spa & Yoga. Sure, you can get in a yoga class, but better yet, rent out a sensory deprivation tank and really get your mind off of it all. Get your mellow buzz on and then float effortlessly as you meditate deeply. Floating (buzzed or not) should top every Ann Arbor visitor’s To-Do list.
There are float/massage package options, including for couples.
Right across the street is Cayman Sports, where you can buy all things related to racquet sports. It’s local!
A & L Wine Castle
If you’re looking for one of Ann Arbor’s best wine, beer, liquor, and cigar selections, visit A & L Wine Castle right around the corner, on W. Stadium. A & L is family-owned and a jewel in Ann Arbor. If you’re looking for something special, they are sure to have it here.
Nicolas Books Shuler Books
Nicolas Books was bought out by Shuler Books. A visit to this bookstore will be forthcoming. Note: Their website says they purchase used, hardcopy (with the dust cover) books.
