Information Entropy on Broadway
Information Entropy’s building is beautiful. Plus they have done a nice job with their landscaping. Walk into a large and warm lobby to show your ID. The shopping area is huge and beautiful. This is an elegant shopping experience.
Unfortunately, this dispensary does not carry organic flower cannabis – at least when I last visited. And by my conversation, organic flower was not something this store wants to carry. Carrying flower organic cannabis is a must for me. It’s a low bar to pass, but many of Ann Arbor’s dispensaries don’t seem to care. It’s about our planet and being stewards by using less, especially chemicals.
Information Entrophy is family-owned and run by Ann Arborites. They have two dispensaries, with this one in the near northeast side of town, officially called ‘lower town’, off Broadway. It’s a little difficult to get here, if you’ve never been, you’ll catch Broadway right off Plymouth and you’ll have access to their driveway.
What’s Near this Dispensary
If you like Indian food, Cardamom Restaurant is not too far away, up Plymouth Rd about 2 miles. You’ll love Cardamom for its fresh taste. They have a nice bar you can eat at if that’s your preference. Cardamom has a nice atmosphere. Warning: There can be very long waits, even for carry out.
Northside Grill Is another one of Ann Arbor’s favorite diners. I love their breakfast, but you’ll get great food any time of day. If you’re hungry, this is the place, and they serve Roos Roast Coffee here.
One of Ann Arbor’s jewels is Argo Livery (1055 Longshore Dr), where you can rent tubes, kayaks, or canoes and take them down the rapids. Very fun!
Tip: Get here early because on a nice day this place gets extremely busy.
Argo Walking Trails Access
There are also plenty of walking trails, both paved and unpaved at Argo. You are kitty-corner from a park access point. There’s a parking lot just on the other side of Maiden Lane that is used for tuber parking.
Border-to-Border Trail (B2B)
Information Entrophy is right at a Border-to-Border trail (B2B) access point. B2B is an ambitious County-wide activity trail project. Look for the stairs at the corner of Broadway and the river (both sides of the river) and you’re there. Have a gorgeous walk!
