Downtown Transit Center

The Jungle House is just on the edge of downtown Ann Arbor, on Ashley at William. This is a small, cute boutique dispensary that has a nice selection of everything. My budtender could not have been nicer or more helpful. I was shopping for a hash rosin cartridge, my new preference for imbibing. They had a couple of choices, which surprised and pleased me.

To access Liberty, you’ll need to go around the back and check in. They have one, nicely stocked, small room.

The Jungle House is owned by a husband/wfe team. My office is around the corner and this is my new favorite store. If you’re downtown, this is dispensary will be near you and is worthy of the trip.

The Jungle House is convenient to just about anywhere in central Ann Arbor. Download the Spin app and rent one of the scooters and make it easy to get anywhere.

What’s Near this Dispensary

Pacific Rim by Kana

If you’re more in the mood for upscale dining, you should check out Pacific Rim by Kana. Pacific Rim is one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Ann Arbor. (The Black Sable is amazing!!) They never fail to deliver a tasty meal. They have a nice wine menu as well.

Kosmos

Kosmos is where all the locals go for their Bi Bim Bop. Kosmos is not much on atmosphere, but the Bi Bim Bop is too fabulous to care. And besides, it’s clean.

Krazy Jim’s Blimpyburger

Krazy Jim’s Blimpyburger is the place to go for that big burger to take the edge off any munchies. Krazy Jim’s is the real deal as you watch your burger getting cooked right in front of you. Get your double or triple burger loaded up! Check out the fries.

Fleetwood Diner

The Fleetwood Diner is still serving up its hippy hash for all the hippies out here, in its vintage diner. If you find yourself in Ann Arbor, in the early hours of the morning and you’re hungry, you are in luck. The Fleetwood Diner is open 24 hours.

Blank Slate Creamery

You are so close to your ice cream fix at Blank Slate Creamery. Blank Slate offers HOMEMADE and natural ice cream. Watch out for long lines on a nice day. They source as local as they can for their ingredients.

Located one block from Main Street, Liberty Cannabis is located in a great place for Ann Arbor shopping. A walk up and down Main will show you all kinds of shopping. But here’s a lot more shopping to be had on some of the side streets by this dispensary.

Downtown Home and Garden

Downtown Home and Garden (a century old!) is a hardware store on steroids. Sure, they have dirt, compost, bird seed, plants and more. But they also have that special gift for your special person. You can also grab a great cup of coffee and some bread here. They’ve expanded into the store next door, so there’s even more to choose from.

The Ann Arbor Art Center

The Ann Arbor Art Center is on W. Liberty and has a nice collection of reasonably priced artworks. If you like the arts, check out this gallery, which changes regularly.

West Side Book Shop

West Side Book Shop offering used and rare books. If you are into books this is one bookstore you want to visit. An amazing way to spend a pleasant and buzzed afternoon. Of course, they buy books, as well as sell them.

Ann Arbor Running Company

Ann Arbor Running Company is an independent running shoe store. If you are a runner, this is the place to shop. They are the experts! They do have two other locations in Ann Arbor.

The Ark

The Ark is a 400-seat, nationally renowned acoustic venue and features folk to roots music. The Ark is considered one of the top music clubs in the country. It’s a non-profit! Tip: Although every seat is good, the edge seats are not quite as fun.

Blue Llama

If you like jazz, coordinate your cannabis buy with a ticket to a show at the Blue Llama on Main. The Blue Llama offers a superb dining experience along side a great line up of live music. What more can a person ask for? A little buzz and some nice jazz or world music! The Blue Llama is one experience you don’t want to miss while in Ann Arbor.

The Argus Museum

If you are a photographer and care about cameras, The Argus Museum is for you. It’s about 3 blocks west of Liberty Cannabis, out into the neighborhoods. It’s open during the weekdays and is a museum of the first cameras made for non-professional photographers – the everyday camera.

Babs’ Underground

Shoot pool at Babs’ Underground. They have two regulation sized pool tables – one of the few places in Ann Arbor to shoot pool. Very nice, upscale atmosphere – not a pool hall! Sometime Bab’s Underground has live music

Hyperion Coffee

Hyperion Coffee on Liberty is the independent coffee experience closest to Liberty Cannabis. A recent addition, after expanding from Ypsilanti, has thrilled a whole lot of coffee aficionados.

The Grotto Watering Hole

The Grotto Watering Hole is just down the block from Liberty Cannabis and has a huge on tap selection of beers from around the world. They also mix a nice selection of craft cocktails. The cool thing about The Grotto is you can bring in your carry out food from other places or order delivery from there.

Bill’s Beer Garden

On warm nights from April through October Bill’s Beer Garden is the place to go. This all outside beer garden is in the parking lot of Downtown Home & Garden. (They close for bad weather.) It’s a fun place to just chill out.

Babs’ Underground

Babs’ Underground is the place to go to simply chill out. It’s below ground and might be one of Ann Arbor’s best kept secrets (shhh). You can always find a cozy spot to sit and drink a well-crafted drink. If you like to shoot pool, Babs has two regulation sized pool tables you will simply love.
