North Coast Provisions at Arborside is a long-time medical cannabis dispensary and now sells recreational cannabis as well. They cultivate and sell their own cannabis products! I had a perfectly fine experience here, my budtender was nice and well-informed. This dispensary is as low-key as you can get.

York specializes in food and drink produced by artisans. Get great artisan cheeses are here. But also York is consistently ranked for the best wine selection. This is a store and a restaurant you must check out. I love meeting up with business colleagues for coffee and bagels here. One of my friends insists York has the best avocado toast ANYWHERE, let alone just in Ann Arbor.

If you like thrift stores, you’ll probably want to hop in the car and go to the Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop. All proceeds go to support the A2 Schools. The store has lots of items to look at – clothes, furniture, and books. But if you are a crafter, this store has a fabulous selection of crafting materials. This thrift shop has grown and evolved over the years and is usually worth a visit.
